Sticky Data

Sunday 12 May 2024, 12:00 – 13.30

With artist Gulsen Guler at the Beecroft Art Gallery – communal workshop area.

A DIY data collection workshop to get a close look at the city using tape, dust, & shedding with TOMA Artist Gulsen Guler

What do we leave behind as we exist and live in this world? How can everyday dirt and dust become a valuable asset in the right hands?

“Sticky Data City Edition” is an open invitation to join the conversation to rethink “data” in cities and play around with alternative visions.

No knowledge of technology or data is necessary. The less you know, the more ridiculous (and fun) everything will be.

All materials will be provided. However, if you want to make your “data” more personalised, you can bring some dirt (yes, dirt! Like hair, crumbs, fluff…).
